The Royal Bahamas Police have established a real time crime center. Connected to the expansion of CCTV and aerial surveillance across the islands, the center facilitates cooperation between the agencies and the different technologies. A large video screen provides video footage of anywhere in The Bahamas. While it is not specified whether they are using facial detection, they are using real time footage and technologies such as ShotSpotter. Some police have also begun to wear body cameras.  +
The project construction covers all natural administrative villages in the area of Yanshan County, following the "5+2+X" model ('5' refers to the installation of more than 5 surveillance cameras in administrative villages, '2' refers to the installation of more than 2 surveillance cameras in villagers' groups, 'X' refers to the rural Sharp Eyes project the third type of resource surveillance cameras). Making the number of the third type of resource "X" bigger and expanding the scale of coverage, a total of 2300 different types of camera procurement.  +
The project builds a total of 399 monitoring points, including 399 cameras.  +
This project consists of two parts, A and B project. A project plans to procure 477 cameras, expand backend storage and platform hardware and software, and upgrade central and backup server room construction. B project plans to build 2190 video surveillance points.  +
