New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle Commission responds to face recognition requests from courts or law enforcement agencies, including federal agencies and local and state police, and shares access to its photo database with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles as part of its Interstate Fraud Prevention Initiative to prevent fraud in the Commercial Driver’s License issuing process. 1
