Un dispositif de reconnaissance faciale a été expérimenté en février 2020 au stade de foot de Metz, avec l'entreprise messine Two-I.

L’expérimentation n’a été révélée qu’à posteriori.

Un an après les faits, en février 2021, la CNIL a publié un avertissement condamnant l’utilisation de dispositif de reconnaissance faciale.
