- "Images, Code & Text". Inspired by A Code-Obsessed Novelist Builds a Writing Bot. The Plot Thickens. The main idea is that there are in computer vision systems three modalities at play each with their own different layers. Text/theory has layers between the epistemological/ontological assumptions, the theoretical framework and the empirics. Language also works that way. But the interesting thing is that code also works that way. That is an interesting way to connect the question of database ontology with ontology in philosophy, and not the way that Louise Amoore does it. Read more from the text.
