Deployment Purpose: Surveillance, Crowd management, Crime Prevention
Summary |
---|
In Eindhoven, advanced surveillance technologies are being utilized for safety and crowd management. The system includes cameras that meet police quality standards and have the capability to create heatmaps to monitor crowd densities. These cameras can also distinguish between different demographics such as gender and age. Additionally, they have the ability to assess moods. ViNotion offered their CrowdDynamics analysis during PSV's championship celebration to enhance safety by analyzing visitor flows. This technology is regularly employed in the Stratumseind 2.0 project and was part of an experimental initiative by Eindhoven 247 in collaboration with City Beacon during the event. |
