The project is backed by the Indian government’s Nirbhaya Fund, and is one of eight similar efforts across cities aimed at creating a safe, secure and empowering environment for women and children through the use of technology. 1
As part of the contract, Honeywell Automation India, a publicly traded subsidiary of Honeywell in India, will install 7,000 cameras across 3,000 locations across Bengaluru. The system will have facial recognition and advanced analytics capabilities. 1
