The implemented system should automatically recognize people entering the café. The system has information about two groups of customers: VIP guests and unwanted guests. Depending on the group, customers would be either banned from entering or a personal member of staff will be allocated.

Система распознавания лиц должна была работать следующим образом: автоматически обнаруживать в видеопотоке, получаемом на входе, изображение лица человека и сравнивать его с образцами из базы. Обнаружив совпадение, выдавать сообщение оператору. В базе данных системы должны были храниться фотографии VIP-клиентов, а также нежелательных клиентов, должников и нарушителей, что позволило бы значительно повысить эффективность работы как администраторов, так и службы безопасности. 1
