Zo verkennen de centrumsteden de mogelijkheden van big data monitoring, verzameld door onder meer sensoren en slimme camera’s om passantentellingen, koopstromen, nagaan van verblijfsduur, looplijnen en impactbepaling van evenementen in kaart te brengen.” De bundeling van krachten gebeurt binnen het Europees EFRO-project KICK (‘Kernversterking in CentrumKernen’). ... Projectpartners zijn POM West-Vlaanderen, Ondernemerscentra West-Vlaanderen, Stad Brugge, Stad Kortrijk, Stad Ieper, Stad Roeselare en Economisch Huis Oostende.
