Summary

MOBESE City Security System was first established in the 2005 in Istanbul as one world's most crowded cities, then the project was taken to the direct supervision of the General Directorate of Security by 2008. According to some sources, MOBESE systems have reduced the crime rate in Istanbul by 60% since its establishment. Being the biggest step of the e-government project within Turkey and in line with the EU standards, MOBESE has the feature of being the world's largest and most successful project in its field.
