<blockquote>原铁山公安分局雪亮平台已承载了相关资源的接入和应用，在历次辖区内公共安防事件中发挥了重大作用。本期扩容的存储与必须将前期原平台存储系统对接融合、统一管理。因此本次新建及扩容改造建设内容需在原有系统上进行建设，不可另行建设、重复建设。
黄石市经济技术开发区铁山区“雪亮工程”项目主要建设内容为：
1. 本期在99 个行政村及管理区安装摄像头351 路（其中机非人一体机20 路，高清枪机313 路，高清球机18 路）及其它配套设备。

2. 原铁山区政法委建设公安使用的平台设备（含271 路视频监控），本次搬迁扩容至开发区·铁山区公安分局机房，作为区级雪亮视频管理平台，确保接入市级雪亮平台，便于后期全区学校、加油站等社会面其他单位视频资源的接入。

3. 修复铁山街道（原铁山分局视频监控建设修复及并网）共计23 个点位，40 台摄像机，8 套电子卡口，并接入本次迁移后的新平台。

4. 3 年的平台驻场维护、前端监控点人工维护、341 条网络租赁及维护、1 条万兆光纤链路租赁及维护。[[CiteRef::noauthor__2022-28]]</blockquote>
