Description

Five hundred cameras with facial recognition are planned to be installed in Volgograd and its satellite towns. The city will be receiving funding for the project from 2022 to 2024. The cameras will be placed in crowded places, such as parks, markets, and shopping malls.

Камеры видеонаблюдения планируют установить в областном центре, Волжском, Михайловке, Камышине, Фролово и Урюпинске. Оборудование с функцией распознавания лиц появится там уже в этом году.

«Умные» камеры появятся благодаря средствам регионального бюджета. Субсидии на это будут предоставляться с 2022-го по 2024 год. Об этом стало известно в ходе совещания по развитию систем аппаратно-программного комплекса «Безопасный город» в регионе.

Оборудование установят в местах массового скопления людей. Новые камеры позволят мониторить обстановку в парках, торговых центрах и на рынках. 1
