Description[ ]
The Hudson Valley Crime Analysis Center is part of a network of 10 real-time crime analysis centers supported by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice. Housed at the Orange County Emergency Services Center, the HVCAC features "a video wall measuring 4½ -feet high by 20-feet wide that displays multiple sources of data and information in real time, including feeds from public surveillance cameras in the cities of Newburgh and Middletown." It also accesses ShotSpotter gunshot detection technology. The HVCAC serves agencies in Orange, Dutchess and Ulster counties. 1
