Description[ ]
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office launced its real-time crime center in 2019. According to a press release, the $2 million dollar RTCC has access to over 10,000 cameras across 260 public schools and administrative buildings in Broward County. The RTCC is also connected to the department’s automated license plate reader system, the SaferWatch mobile application, and other surveillance technologies. 1
