公安分平台主要在公安视频专网和公安信息网两网进行部署，公安视频专网侧部署的平台主要侧重收集视频图像数据。公安信息网侧部署的平台主要侧重以与对视频图像数据的解析，将获取到的结构化数据反馈给民警，提高办案效率,根据用户需求，平台除了实时调阅、历史回放、以图搜图、布控告警、身份核验、轨迹分析、关系分析、规律分析、算法建模等，有效支撑视频图像专业应用、视频图像专题应用、视频图像对象监控、视频图像目标追踪、视频图像线索挖掘、统计分析、一机一档系统应用、点位资产信息展示应用、公告栏、水印定制化展现应用、数据运维服务、移动端APP应用、全国人员在逃人员布控告警应用、短信告警应用、飞识人员身份确认应用、人员档案应用、过车数据结构化推送等应用。

阳江市视频图像共享总平台功能主要包括，共享服务门户、目录管理系统、申请审批系统、音视频转码、系统功能、实时视频应用、云台控制、录像管理、电视墙管理、电子地图、告警管理、视频运维、AR全域追视应用。为各雪亮工程成员单位提供平安数据资源共享，发挥平安数据资源在社会治安、综合治理、重点人口管理、危机预警干预等方面的支撑能力，提升社会治安综合治理的科技化、精细化的管理水平。
